Abstract :
In this article, there were two issues discussed in the structural concept optimization design. One was that service function of building must be considered in optimizing the structural concept, and the quantificational method must be proposed. The other was that the cost of superstructure of building and the cost of foundation of building should be considered conjointly in optimizing the structural concept, and the lowest construction cost plan could be obtained. The validity of this method was confirmed by the example in last part of this article.
