Abstract
Femoral neck fracture is a kind of common bone damage. The stability of injured joint is often influenced by the fixed angle of screw, the number of screws and the combination of screws when the internal fixation method is brought into operation. In this study, by means of medical image processing and finite element analysis, we do a research of simulation which will reflect the relationship between the fixed angle of screw and the stability of postoperative joint. The fixed angle that we discussed is in the situation of single-screw internal fixation. The material properties model of bone that we used in research can make bone show the performance of non-homogeneous and anisotropic. Then we simulate the physiological loading conditions to load the finite element model. These two methods bring high accuracy to three-dimensional finite element model, and also reliable theoretical basis which comes from the simulation results to evaluate the development of the femoral neck fracture surgery program and its effect of treatment.
