Abstract :
A comparison of several double resonant structures has been carried out. Two of them have been retained and thoroughly studied. Experimental results have been obtained for a low power converter. They confirm simulation results and the interesting features of these converters (narrow frequency range for a power transfer varying from no-load to full load). The two double resonant converters studied reveal similar behavior and performance; output characteristics and semiconductor or passive component stresses are close for the two converters. However, one of the structures eventually allows the parasitic inductor of a transformer to be used as the series resonant inductor
