Abstract
This paper analyses a switched oscillator consisting in a bandpass filter fed back by a comparator under external signal injection. After investigating how an external signal may influence the oscillator frequency, numerical simulations and experimental results describing the oscillator synchronization capabilities are presented. The synchronization behavior of the oscillator is described making use of plots representing the oscillator spectrum versus input signal frequency. It is found that the circuit behaves qualitatively as the so-called synchronous oscillator.
