Abstract :
According to the experimental studies on 11 specimens of recycled aggregate concrete (RAC) filled square steel tube column under axial compression loading. The failure patterns, mechanical behavior of RAC-filled square steel tube such as the loading-displacement curves, loading capacity, peak stress and strain, rigidity degradation and energy dissipation are obtained. Study results show that failure mode of RAC filled square steel tube is similar to ordinary concrete filled square steel tube; with the recycled coarse aggregate replacement percentage increasing, the bearing capacity have slightly increased.
