Abstract :
Behavior investigation of Low Temperature Co-Fired Ceramic(LTCC) tape when placed in water environment is presentedin this paper. As addition, influence of number of LTCC tapes on overall capacitance. of interdigitalcapacitor (IDC) was also investigated and presented. Acting as a sensing structureIDC was embedded inside LTCC stack to prevent direct contact of water and IDC. LTCC structures with two and four tape layers were fabricated. Investigation was conducted on Heraeus CT 703 LTCC tape. Results are presented in this paper and appearance of the fabricated structures is given.
