Summary form only given. The authors examine some significant developments in engineering management education in Australia and New Zealand in the 1990s. The implementation of the “10% rule” growth of graduate programs in engineering management in both countries, issues and trends in engineering management education towards the third millennium are examined. The influence of overseas developments in engineering management organizations especially in Asia will affect these two South Pacific Countries
