Abstract :
Based on the engineering properties of rock fall in mountain area, analyzed the rock fall hazards in bridge construction, rock fall formation process and the motion state of falling, bouncing, sliding, rolling. Analyzed rock fall kinematics calculation method and how it affects on bridge construction. At the end, the method was applied in a case of bridge in Shuifu-Maliuwan highway in Yunnan Province, China.
