Abstract :
It is demanding to develop automatic monitoring system for fibre maintenance. In this kind of system, data processing of fibre´s attenuation data is a core part for finding faults in optical fibres. In this paper, one method for detecting fibre events based on wavelet analysis and recursive analysis is discussed. Through practical operations it is proved that the accuracy of data processing for event-identifying and fault-orienting is greatly improved.
