Abstract :
The algorithms of traffic data compression and decompression based on 2-D wavelet transformation technology have been developed. The composition of urban intelligent traffic data and the principle of traffic data compression based on wavelet transformation coding have been given. Good compression and denoise results have been verified by using the algorithms presented in this paper for the traffic data from the 65 measured sections of Beijing´s third-wreath road.
