Research on development of Rural Urbanization and development strategies

Rural Urbanization is a process of the transfer of the rural population to cities and towns and the change of the rural economy into urban economy. Urbanization is a major issue for the social and economic development of China in the new era. This paper mainly describes the development history, current situation and development models of rural urbanization in China, focus on analyzing the problems in the construction of rural urbanization and the reasons for the slow development of rural urbanization, and put forward the countermeasures model to promote development of rural urbanization. These can drive the social progress in rural areas, promote increasing productivity and economic efficiency growth, change people´s mentality, and improve population quality and the quality of life.
