Abstract :
MSP430-based portable recorder could use in various occasion outside laboratory. Researchers no more need PC and other not portable instrument for measure and record the data about solar radiation, PV output and domestic hot water. Use DS12887 as real time clock, DS18B20 as the environment thermometer, has LED display and key for field use, 8-channel 4~20mA common standard signals sampling. All the sampling data were saved in SD card as CSV format. The device powered by rechargeable battery and could charge with solar cell, could long term record in the field.
