Abstract :
Electronic control demand of heavy duty diesel engine requires injection parameter to mediate, in order to obtain good engine performance, electro-hydraulic injection timing actuator is developed, especially, a high-speed solenoid valve is chosen to control the actuator. The whole system sketch including electro-hydraulic injection timing actuator, control hardware, software and acquisition algorithm are presented, and the model and control strategy for control is introduced. Inner gear-meshing way is adopted to simplify the structure of injection timing actuator, and partial closed-loop control strategy for injection timing angle is presented. Test of injection timing actuator system is done in simulated experiment bench according to the given type diesel engine, and the control system can make injection timing maintain the extent of 0.3(°) CA (crankshaft angle) and changing time is within the 2 seconds when injection timing angle is varied from 10.5 to 18.5(°) CA. And the test´s result proved this system can meet operational demand of the heavy duty diesel engine.
