Abstract
This paper analyses the chemistry stability of eutectic salt phase change materials according to chemical thermodynamic principle, and introduces the methods and steps of thermodynamic calculation and analysis during the process of confecting eutectic salt materials. The paper takes thermodynamic calculation according to the two phase-change materials, Na2CO3-SiO2 and Na2SO4-SiO2. By comparing the relational graph of Gibbs free energy and the temperature, we found out that Na2SO4-SiO2 bears a more stable chemical and thermal performance, which indicates the important role of thermodynamic calculation in studying the eutectic salt storage phase-change materials.
