Abstract
A noncontact measurement method of rotating object plane parameters were studied based on the geometrical optics principle and the computer vision technology. The method principle is that the laser, which reflects from the measured object, forms a track on the receiver with the object rotating. Then, CCD camera adopts images of the track and the plane parameters are obtained by processing the images. Mathematic model for the measurement was established from geometry optics and an experimental system for the measurement was developed. The results from the experimental system were compared with data of the eddy current sensor measuring. And the comparison shows that the measurement method is feasible.
