Abstract
This paper explains how a disinfection quality model was started for the distribution system of Shanghai Pudong, China. It first explains how were found the bulk kinetics constants and displays the results. Then it explains how wall reaction constant was obtained based on pipe material and pipe age data. It also comments the quality of the results and proposes some way to enhance it. Afterwards it deals with calibration of the model, gives general method for calibrating and analyses the results for the model of Pudong. And finally some ideas are proposed about how control disinfectant in the network of Pudong.
