Abstract
The joint detection-estimation of signals with unknown scales, time of arrival and amplitude based on both Bayesian ideas and multiresolution is addressed. Two methods are introduced and applied to nuclear plant monitoring. The first approach elaborates generalized likelihood ratios (GLRs) and thus allows the reconstruction of the signals. The second procedure takes place after having processed a new oblique multiresolution (OMR) and is eventually an alternative to the GLRs when knowledge of the signals is reduced. The results obtained by both methods are promising
