Abstract :
Telemedicine usually needs multipoint-to-multipoint communication. Because the communication users can be patients, specialists and medical centers, they have different communication modes and rates. Therefore, this kind of communication is complicated and limited. In this paper, in order to meet the requirements of telemedicine communication, we present the concept of a medical communication server which is able to receive data packages and deliver them according to client requests, and its implementation in the Windows 95 environment by using Winsocket is described
