Abstract :
High temperature superconductors (HTS) exhibit nonlinear behavior at high magnetic fields. In this case, analysis of microwave superconducting devices cannot be performed in the frequency-domain; time-domain analysis is a must. The paper presents a nonlinear time-domain model for HTS microwave planar structures. The nonlinear performance of HTS lines is clearly demonstrated. Results comparing performance of HTS in linear and nonlinear regions with normal conductors are presented.<>
