Abstract :
Based on FEM software Ansys, established an exactly model of Gusset Plate, simulated the welding process by birth and death element technique, and obtained the temperature field distribution at different time and the final residual stress field. The research results provided the theoretical basis for the optimization of welding process and the control of welding residual stress.
