Abstract :
Relying on the site investigation of WenXiang Tunnel of Zhengzhou-Xi´an High-speed Passenger Railway in China and field monitoring of tunnel testing section, comprehensive researches have been done about stratum and tunnel structure deformation by field testing and theoretical analysis. The results indicate that ground settlement is bigger than vault settlement in shallow loess tunnel; also, 3D movement trend of stratum deformation and space-time effects of each excavation step of overlap tunnel are concluded. These results can be widely used as reference in design and construction of tunnels under similar soil condition; also they provide fundamental support for design and construction of under-passes section of WenXiang Tunnel.
