Abstract :
In H∞-optimal synthesis methods the resulting controllers have been considered as having order much greater than the order of the plant. An explicit algorithm for computing the suboptimal controllers has been presented (1989) by the first author. These controllers have order no greater than the order of the plant. The algorithm is extended here to the optimal case
