  • Abstract
The paper deals with EEG spikes detection based on wavelet representation. A multilevel structure, which locates the temporal segments where abnormal events occur, is described. The methodology retained for the automatic adjustment of the thresholds is presented. The tests are performed both on simulated and real EEG data and the performances of the proposed detector are compared to another one proposed in the literature
