Abstract :
How to analyze the problems in construction engineering projects efficiently is an important research task in construction project management. In order to put forward an efficient method, first, how to obtain the characteristics of problem phenomena and their parameters are analyzed on the guidance of rough set, and a new model to obtain the parameters of problem phenomena is set up. Then, how to extract their corresponding indexes from the parameters is researched by means of the method named as information reduction. Third, how to obtain weights corresponding with these indexes is discussed. Based on which, a new method to extract index is put forward in the paper. Because this method to extract index is universal, it can also be used by other researchers analyzing how to obtain research object´s characteristics and their parameters, and their corresponding indexes in different fields, it has a high value in theory and practice.
