Abstract :
By integrating space-time coding technology into LAS spread spectrum technology, the code division multiple access system can take both of their advantage. When many antennas are installed on the base station, the wireless communication system is possible to get full spatial diversity gain. Both the transmitter scheme and the receiver scheme of such space-time spread spectrum CDMA system using multiple transmitting antennas are proposed. Due to both the spectrum-spread operation and space-time operation, the temporal diversity gain can be achieved. Some simulation results of performance are given.
