Abstract
A system was developed to clinically evaluate pediatric foot and ankle kinematics three-dimensionally. A unique active marker set was constructed to track the three-dimensional motion of the pediatric hindfoot and ankle complex during gait. This new marker design is used in conjunction with a VAX 3100 and Vicon based, 6-camera motion analysis facility
