Abstract :
The specific development process for SolidWorks standard parts library is studied based on VB by taking spiral wound gasket for instance and the standard parts library is established in the SolidWorks environment. The users can insert the needed standard parts in the 3-D modeling process through the form in VB. Thus the design is simplified, and the efficiency is improved.
