Abstract :
Effects of the finite metallization thickness on the characteristics of the coplanar strips (CPS) are investigated for the first time using a full-wave mode-matching technique. Numerical results indicate that the CPS´ strip thickness must be included for accurate design of microwave circuits. Calculated results of CPS with zero metallization thickness agree well with those published previously.
