Abstract :
In this paper, we address the problem of strong mobility of orchestrated Web services. In particular, we focus on the case where the partner Web services are also orchestrated. For such services, we employ an Aspect oriented approach based on checkpoint/rollback mechanisms which enables the orchestration process to migrate to another host and resume its execution starting from the last captured checkpoint. Thus, we handle the migration of both the main and partner orchestration processes independently or at the same time. In addition, we employ a low cost rollback mechanism where the partner orchestrated services don´t need to be re-executed. They will directly return the result, if their execution was finished before the main orchestration process interruption. Otherwise, they will resume their execution starting from the last captured checkpoint. An experimentation has been performed on a Travel agency case study deployed on the AO4BPEL engine. It shows the efficiency and the usability of our approach.
