Abstract :
This paper describes design and circuit implementation of phase analog-to-digital data converter for radio receiver compliant with IEEE 802.15.4 standard. Standard specifications are considered to calculate the ADC dynamic range. A trade off between power consumption and phase resolution is defined to optimise the phase ADC design. Simulation results are presented to analyse ADC circuit implementation performances.
