Abstract
The rectangular-waveguide iris coupled T-junction is analyzed using the mode matching method associated with two different formulations (generalised scattering matrix and the generalised admittance matrix) and the results obtained are compared with previously published data. There are some differences that reveal the presence of some difficulties when MM is applied to discontinuities with large aspect ratios.
