Abstract :
A method to analyze nonlinear switched circuits with different state variables in each topology is proposed. The method is based on a steady-state time-domain discretization of the circuit equations. An algebraic system of equations is obtained where the unknowns are samples of the control variable of the nonlinearity and of another system state observing variable obtained from the eigenvectors of the state matrix. A relationship between state variables is established at each switching instant. Results are presented for a class E resonant inverter.
