Abstract
PMNT single crystals grown by the modified Bridgman method exhibit not only extrahigh piezoelectric performances, but also the good uniformity of coupling factor, density and velocity, though dielectric constants vary apparently compared to the other properties. These intrinsic characteristics of the PMNT single crystals are quite promising for the next generation of transducers.
