Abstract
A mathematically exact representation of the vector potential and corresponding electric fields has not previously been available for a cylindrical wire dipole with a triangularly distributed current. This paper outlines the derivation of an exact formulation for the vector potential and electric fields associated with a triangular current cylindrical antenna. The expressions presented are exact in the sense that no assumptions or approximations were made in their derivation.
