Abstract :
How to efficiently utilize geo-location information in communications has recently received increasing interests for many different issues, like interference management, synchronization, etc. Geo-location information can be either gained and tracked through GPS or by other radio or non-radio aided means. In this paper the focus is on different approaches for cooperative communication that use geo-location information successfully to decide if relay nodes in different setups should be used or not.
