Abstract
Through sampling and monitoring activities in Nansha River of Anshan city, this study emphatically analyzed distribution of organic pollutants in the water. The experimental results show that there are many species of organic pollutants in Nansha River, it includes alkanes, phthalate esters, phenols, alcohols and ethers, aldehydes and ketones, organic acids and its esters,benzene derivatives, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, and so on. Among of them, the peak of phthalate esters is the highest and detected in the whole river reach; the naphthalene is detected in the middle and lower reach.
