Abstract :
Reconfigurable manufacturing system is advanced manufacturing system and is mutual collaboration with software and hardware. The system reconfigurable mode of RMS included the physical mode and logical mode. The modeling method must embody integrality of system reconfigurable mode. From object-oriented techniques, the modeling method is presented based on OPN and UML according to reconfigurable mode of RMS in order to establish the comprehensive system model and open out the reconfigurable process of RMS. The system physical model is established with OPN and the logical model is established with UML. The modeling method can analysis dynamic characteristic of system model and make the system achieve reusability, integrated ability and expansibility. An example of a cylinder reconfigurable production line is presented to describe the actual process of the modeling methodology and illustrate the effectivity of the methodology.
