Abstract
A nonsymmetric pulsed double forming line (DFL) is proposed to shorten the high voltage pulse risetime of the nanosecond pulsed power generator up to <1 ns. A twofold rate of rise increase has been obtained by the short DFL energy store, mounted in the single line output of a nanosecond driver without any additional peaking spark gap.
