Abstract :
According to the attitude update request of micro-inertial measurement system in some Aircraft, a new method Rodrigues parameters attitude update algorithm was put forward attitude update. And then attitude differential equations and attitude matrix were proposed based on Rodrigues parameters. Under angle velocity as the input with low-accuracy micro-mechanical velocity gyro, attitude errors were analyzed respectively using quaternion algorithm, sample rotation vector algorithm and Rodrigues parameters algorithm, the error of Rodrigues parameters algorithm is mostly the same as quaternion algorithm error, higher precision than ample rotation vector algorithm; In the calculation, Rodrigues parameters algorithm is Significantly small than quaternion algorithm and sample rotation vector algorithm. Finally, through hardware-in-the loop simulation experiment, the experiment show Rodrigues parameters attitude update algorithm is feasible, and it has some actual engineering applicable value.
