Abstract :
Earthquake is the mightily powerful disaster. It can severely threat the security of people´s life and property. Masonry structure is the most widely used structure. Because of the poor integrity and poor anti-seismic capability, a large number of masonry structure buildings have been damaged when earthquake happens. In this paper, based on typical summary of damage of masonry structure in Wenchuan earthquake, some factors include material. design method and constructive acceptance will be analyzed. In the end, some measures will be proposed in order to strengthen the anti-seismic capability of masonry structure.
