Abstract :
The main lobe interference usually causes the distortion and peak offset of main lobe and the heightening of side lobe level in adaptive beamformers. The interference blocking matrix of uniform planar array is constructed for beamforming to eliminate the main lobe interference, then the weight compensation algorithm can avoid peak offset of the main lobe. Simulation results demonstrate the validity of the proposed algorithm in avoiding the main lobe distortion and peak offset.
