Abstract :
The problem of spectral analysis of phase modulated (PM) signals generated in a differential measurement system equipped with parametric converters is addressed. A wide linear PM scheme is presented and applied to a bridge-based measurement system. The concept of a discrete demodulator (instantaneous phase estimation of PM signals) realized by means of the cross-Wigner-Ville transform is examined. The analysis is performed using simulated and experimental data
