Abstract
After its first period of operation in the decimeter and centimeter wavelength domains in 1972, the 100-m radiotelescope showed promising characteristics in the millimeter-wave region for spectral line and continuum observations of radio sources. Originally only single-beam and linearly polarized observations were made. The extension to dual-beam and multibeam methods, to improve the radio maps and the measurements of polarization behavior of extraterrestrial radiation, is discussed.<>
