Abstract :
How can proper services be delivered and composed to satisfy the user´s intention turns out to be a major research issue in service oriented systems. This paper proposes a solution enhancing service composition based on a model of the user´s intention and a set of service patterns. The core hypothesis of this research is that the composition mechanism may be guided by a model of user´s intentions. The composition mechanism uses furthermore a model of service pattern. This paper presents the overall methodology adapted to achieve a composition guided by intentions. We demonstrate, through a scenario, how user intention can help in the composition of services.
