Abstract :
The section shape of piles becomes various along with the development of piles. The additional stress in the ground due to skin friction and tip resistance of pile is different in different section shape. Using the numerical integral function of NIntegrate in Mathematica software, basing on Mindlin stress solution and referencing the idea from Geddes stress solution; The calculation method on additional stress of circular, annular and quadrate style pile were introduced, in which the skin friction and tip resistance of pile was presumed as uniform distribution. The contrast on additional stress due to skin friction and tip resistance of pile was carried out. The main influence depth of additional stress due to skin friction and tip resistance of pile was obtained. The rule on additional stress due to skin friction and tip resistance of three pile shapes in same area was obtained by change of calculation depth. The rule on additional stress due to skin friction and tip resistance of three pile shapes in same depth was obtained by change of calculation area.
