Abstract :
A recent and fundamentally novel design approach can yield an output feedback compensator and can fully realize, for the first time, the loop transfer function of the state feedback control which is least constrained. Thus the highest performance and robustness (of the strongest state feedback control) is finally achieved. This paper improves this design by guaranteeing the feedback system stability. This improved design also provides the first simple and systematic design procedure and design solution to the strong stabilization problem-stabilize feedback system by a stable output feedback compensator, and to the problem of strong stabilization with lower order compensators
