Abstract
A novel measurement method of conducted emissions on antenna terminal is proposed in this paper, substituting the conventional rejection network with an adjustable broadband attenuator. The practical attenuation could be calculated subject to measuring the power level of the fundamental frequency. By carefully selecting the attenuation, the dynamic range of the spectrum analyzer will be satisfied for measuring both the peak power and the harmonics and spurious. The attenuator has a much wider bandwidth in which the attenuation is smooth and stable. Since the setting procedures are simpler and easier, the proposed method could improve the efficiency and shorten the time. In addition, the costs can be cut down dramatically.
