Abstract :
This paper stated a novel method of protecting power amplifier in electromagnetic susceptibility (EMS) test. According to little changing of SWR amplitude with fixed impedance, the possible large power output could be predicted based on the current low power, achieving the aim of equipment protection. It is proved in actual test example that that novel method could be operated expediently and put into excellent application.
