Abstract
In order to achieve real-time detection of the six-degree of freedom at the same time, and determine the measured movement of an object model quickly and accurately, this paper introduced a device, which was based on a six-degree of freedom sensor and composed by the signal detection system and the host computer software testing program. Among them, the software testing pragram was developed with LabVIEW8.5, six-degree of freedom sensors ADIS16355 and microcontroller ATmega128 composed the signal detection system. Sensor ADIS16355 sent the signal through the SPI synchronous serial mode to the MCU. The MCU controlled the data transmission with the host computer in real-time, and the computer processed the data accordingly. By using high-precision six-DOF robot as a testing device, the results verify the good precision of the device.
