Abstract :
Shortcomings of the traditional bit error rate (BER) analyzing method of digital communication systems are analyzed. Based on the amplitude probability distribution (APD) principles which are introduced in this paper, the method is improved. The error probability algorithm, which contains amplitude and phase elements of interference signals, of binary digital communication system based on APD is also introduced. It can be used for analyzing the interfering effect on digital communication systems by assuming the interference phase obeying uniform distribution.
